The Pest Management Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization whose mission and purpose is to advance the pest management industry through education, research, and outreach. The Pest Management Foundation is affiliated with the National Pest Management Association, the industry's only national trade group. The Foundation has been in existence for more than 40 years and has funded urban entomology research projects at universities nationwide.

Our Vision: To make life better by protecting food, health, property and brands for the well-being of all people and communities by advancing the pest management industry through education, research, and outreach.

Our Mission: To grow Foundation resources through fundraising and thoughtful investing in order to support education, research, and outreach in urban entomology and structural pest management across North America and foster collaboration between industry and the research community.

The Pest Management Foundation has a number of scholarships for students. The application period is now closed for the 2023-2024 academic year and will reopen in Fall 2024. Questions should be directed to foundation@pestworld.org. 

All-American Pest Control STEAM Trailblazer Scholarship

The All-American Pest Control STEAM Trailblazer Scholarship is a distinguished program that honors and empowers outstanding young women with a drive to excel in science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics (STEAM).

Arrow Exterminators Endowed Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is for a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in any field. Priority is given to those whose families serve in the pest control industry and/or are located in a state in which Arrow conducts business.

Bruce and Evelyn Bowman Endowed Scholarship

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior each year in the state of Hawaii who has a parent or guardian working in pest management.

Daniel J. and Robert E. Klein Endowed Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior entering college or trade school each year.

Emily and Hugh Kendrick Family Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is to be awarded to a student from Georgia, Wyoming, or Colorado who is graduating from a high school entering college or trade school.

Joe Thomas Endowed Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is for a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in any field at the University of Tennessee.

New Jersey Pest Management Association Pest Professional Stewardship Scholarship

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior each year in the state of New Jersey entering the field of professional pest management who has a parent or guardian working in pest management.

Pest Management Foundation Scholarships

The Pest Management Foundation Scholarship Program will award up to five scholarships of up to $2,000 each, to outstanding students at accredited entomology programs at U.S. colleges or universities.

Sprague Pest Solutions Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student each year whose studies focus on urban entomology, rodentology, or biological sciences.

The Pest Management Foundation funds research focused on solving real-world challenges faced by the structural pest control industry.
